What is personal care?
Personal care is hands-on help with activities of daily living — bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, eating, and mobility — provided at home by a trained caregiver.
Is personal care the same as home health care?
No. Personal care is non-medical help with daily living and does not require a doctor’s order. Home health care is skilled medical care ordered by a physician.
How many hours of personal care can I get?
